Techniques and Styles

Wedding  photography can be a profound blend of different types of photography. Although the wedding album is, in and of itself,  a document or artifact of the wedding day, wedding photos can be shot, retouched or edited to produce a variety of styles or effects. For example, a photographer may treat some of the pictures with sepia toning to give them a more classic, timeless look. SOme artists just shoot and then leave everything alone, in the tradition of the great masters of the early age of photography. Some wedding photographers offer special effects that offer a faux-image of what is really there. All of these are offered by different studios to clients who end up choosing the end result based on personal taste.
