First Stop After Graduation: London
January 27, 2009 6:53 am 152While I was finishing my Master’s Degree in Literature, I was given the opportunity to leave my small New England college town and travel to England, on a student project.
I fell in love with the city, the country, and Europe in general.
When I got back to the USA, I immediately began to research Graduate jobs in London and soon was offered a unique position with an American firm based in Europe.
Five hours after graduation I was on a plane to Heathrow and now, twenty-five years later, I still own a home in London as well as New Hampshire.
Maybe it’s the romantic in me, but I am just as much at home working where Charles Dickens wrote as I am where I was born.
