When I finally asked her why this was such a big deal to her, she replied that she wanted me to have a career that I could enjoy and would support me if I ever found myself in that position. Finally I told her that I had already decided to become a court reporter. she was pleasantly shocked when I told her that I searched online for the “average salary court reporter” and found the edcouraging results. I think my mom will let up on me as far as going to college now because she knows that I will have a solid career.
