Tithing

10:52 am 156

There are several Christian denominations which practice some form of the Law of Tithing, but mormon doctrine requires a person be a faithful tithe payer to go to the temple, the most sacred building in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mormon doctrine states that a full tithe is a payment to the Lord of 10 percent of a person’s increase. Most people consider this to be 10 percent of their gross pay checks. Tithing in the Mormon church is used to help build and maintain Church buildings as well as for other things to help build the Church on the earth.
