Discipline And Hard Work Required
December 26, 2009 7:06 pm 157Discipline, hard work and a regulare work out schedule, thats the truth about building muscle. You cannot strengthen your abs or your biceps by just doing a few sit ups once in a while or a few curls whenever you feel like it. Muscle building requires focus and attention and has to be done at least every day or every other day. Some say that you need to rest your muscles for 24 hours so you should not work the same muscle groups every day. I would say that that’s true, but only if you are giving that group of muscles the maximum workout. You will feel fatigue and burn in that muscle area if so, and then it is probably a good idea to let the muscle rest and rebuild before you work it again. One thing about building muscle that has attained mythic status is that you can turn your fat into muscle by exercising it and building it. This is definitely not true. Muscle is muscle and fat is fat and the two can not be converted from one into the other. Now, let’s get to work on those triceps! Remember that when you build your muscles, your body will burn more calories to maintain them. So while it is true that you can burn fat while you are building muscles, it is not the case that you have converted that fat. You have just burned it off.
