I Never Knew it Would be so Simple

I just heard about something really neat. It’s called a port authorization code, or a Pac code. It is a code that you get from your mobile phone provider that makes it possible to keep your old phone number when you change companies. It is free, and all you have to do is request it before you terminate your contract with your current company. Then, when you go to a different provider, you just give it to them. Once that is done, your phone number will be transferred to your new provider within two weeks. I never knew it could be so simple to keep your phone number!
