Hofburg Palace in Vienna and the Spanish Riding School

Vienna is one of those places, like Paris, that is just way too big to get your arms around and see all the good things that you want to see in just a couple of days. But, if that is all the time that you have in Vienna, I would recommend going to see the Hofburg palace and especially the Spanish Riding School performance. The horses of the Spanish Riding School are all white classically trained dressage horses that do the most impressive synchronized riding performance I have ever seen. To top that off the riders and horses also do some incredible moves like leaping into the air from a stand-still. The Spanish Riding School is definitely a “do not miss” kind of activity in Vienna.
