Commentary On “HEARD ON THE STREET: Angie’s Restricted List Should Tempt Investors”

It is great to see Angie’s list doing so well. When I lived in Columbus Ohio back in the mid-90′s the company was just starting out. I joined the service lyrics and quotes found it to be invaluable, especially as a new resident of the area with few reliable contacts for referrals. The recommendations helped me tremendously. I had greater confidence in choosing contractors, plumbers, electricians…when I knew other paying Angie’s List members were rating the services. I still met and received multiple quotes from 2 or 3 provides, but I found this consistently more reliable and with less risk than picking numbers out the yellow pages blindly. Angie was onto something then and clearly has a proven model for success. She also make a great spokes person for the company.
