The Prototype In A Product Development Process

12:03 pm Business

Every Product Development Process deals with translating ideas into viable products. However, the production is not immediately large scale; a prototype is developed first. Many companies encourage the development of an initial design or prototype of the most feasible ideas in the development process. The marketers devise a marketing plan for the prototype. Once the prototype is ready, these marketers use it gain input from the customers. The customers get a feel of the product, and are also given information regarding its price. Favorable customer response will encourage the manufacturer to continue production. Less than favorable reactions will either perpetrate adjustments to the prototype, or will cease its production altogether.
