Telescopic attic ladder material

6:15 am Home Improvement

The structure of a Telescoping Attic Ladder is almost invariably made of aluminum, though there may be other materials like steel in the parts. This gives the ladder all the advantages of aluminum like light weight, strength, freedom from rust and corrosion, and so on. A folding access ladder may have wooden parts, which need polishing/lacquering and treatment from time to time for woodworm etc. Wooden ladders are also heavier compared to their strength. Steel ladders are susceptible to rusting and need repainting periodically. No such problems are faced by a telescopic ladder because of their low maintenance, high performance aluminum construction. No wonder aluminum is the most preferred material these days for attic ladder users.
