What’s in the Purchase Agreement?

I’m considering buying a home in Wakefield, Ma.  This is the first home for me.  I looked around for houses on my own but I wanted to do a little research before I dove into anything serious.  I got a copy of the Purchase and Sale Agreement from Wakefield Ma Real Estate.  Of course the Purchase Agreement was blank but it gave me an idea of what I would be signing.  Included in the Purchase Agreement is the price of the home, the down payment amount, the mortgage amount, a closing date, contingencies, closing costs as well as acceptance and delivery timeframes.  I was really glad I had this information before I started house hunting.  I knew when I found the perfect home I would be much too excited to step back and review this information logically.  I guess my next step is to find my home!
