It was said that during the time when a plague was spread on most of the places, the doctors were still doing treatments. They used a mask for sanitary purposes.  Charles de Lorme designed the mask that was used for doctors. Medico della peste mask seemed like a tool of a doctor for treating patients that are victims of the plague. The doctors before in this time hoped that there won’t be a physical connection and they could protect themselves from the diseases.
